About us

My name is Marlyn Niamat-Mehta - Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and founder of 10Five Immigration Consulting. I am originally from Suriname, a former Dutch colony in South America and now a proud Canadian citizen.

In my former home country I worked at the Department of Taxes in Suriname -  lastly as Head of Collections and Recovery - before moving to the Netherlands, where I obtained my LL.M. (Master of Law) degree in Tax Law from the distinguished Leiden University.

In 2011, I moved from the Netherlands to Canada to join my husband and start a new life. My interest in Canadian Immigration started with my first hand experience in Spousal Sponsorship.

This motivated me to secure the prestigious ICCRC designation, so I could provide authorized Canadian visa and immigration services.

Over the years I have gathered extensive experience in the Caregiver program, preparing applications for clients to acquire Labour Market Impact Assessments from Service Canada.

My personal and professional immigration experience in Canada gives me an understanding and insight in the process of a client’s journey. I intend to assist in changing the lives of people and families who want to settle in Canada.

In addition to English, I speak Dutch and Hindi fluently.
